ABOUT ME I was born and raised in Ontario, Oregon and majored in pre-med at Albertson College of Idaho.. In 1975 John and I were married and I moved to Idaho, where our daughter Jennifer (1976) and son Joseph (1980) were born. I retired from a 30-year career at the US Postal Service in Nampa, ID as a city letter carrier a year early due to multiple health problems.Ken and I were married in 1998. He retired early from a long career as a software systems engineer in southern California, to move to Idaho and become a "house hubby". He's a hard worker and gives generously of himself to others. He's been so much help and support through my health challenges and surgeries.
In December of 2002 my son Joseph (now 27) graduated from Boise State University with a Computer Science degree. He works as a programmer for the Idaho State Police Department. My daughter Jennifer (now 31) was her high school Valedictorian and received her Computer Science degree Cum Lade from Albertson College of Idaho in 1999. Despite her unusual intelligence and loving heart, she's disabled with bipolar disorder and multiple anxiety disorders. We had a busy and active life until health problems in 2005 became unmanageable. Hobbies have included gardening, computers, photography (especially of my roses), two book discussion groups each, snow skiing, bicycling, kayaking, & rock climbing. We belong to Zion Lutheran (LCMS) Church. I have volunteered with the National Graves' Disease Association as a support group facilitator on the online support bulletin board, and we have attended the yearly NGDF Conferences held around the country.
