working with God, we can create a safe and
sacred place in the midst of our busy lives Our lives are fragmented: We shop at many different stores looking for a good deal. We have children bussed, driven, and walking to different schools on different schedules. We have community services competing for our minuscule hours of volunteer help. From work, school, and community we criss cross ourselves going so many directions at once. Multi-tasking used to be the realm of computer operating systems, now it is the way we speak about our daily living. We are fragmented, we are pulled, we are breaking under the strain. |
